Sustainability in Action 🌱✨

Duurzaamheid-in-Actie Aurora Dionis Dermacosmetics

Dear Reader,

We want to clarify our use of recycled plastic in our personal care products and emphasize our commitment to sustainability and consumer safety.

The Environment Council recently adopted a general position during its review of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) , focusing on the pursuit of more sustainable packaging. At Aurora Dionis Dermacosmetics, we fully support these objectives and are taking concrete steps to reduce our environmental impact.

We use recycled plastic in our packaging (the sleeve and cap) as part of our commitment to sustainability . However, it's crucial to emphasize that this recycled plastic does not come into direct contact with the contents of our products. We understand consumer safety concerns, especially with products where the recycled plastic comes into direct contact with the contents.

It's true that recycled plastic can be suitable for products where there's no direct contact with the contents. This choice allows us to use high-quality virgin plastic for packaging products where consumer safety is a priority.

With this communication, we want to be transparent about our use of recycled plastic and make it clear that we're raising consumer awareness of its proper use in our products. Our goal is to ensure both sustainability and consumer safety.

We continue to work closely with policymakers and stakeholders to ensure that the PPWR revision addresses the specific needs of the cosmetics industry. At Aurora Dionis Dermacosmetics, we remain committed to the responsible and sustainable use of plastics in our products.

Yours sincerely,
